Cookie Policy
About this Cookie Policy
This page explains exactly which cookies and similar tracking technologies KissMotion (aikissvideo.app) uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle your data more broadly.
We default to Google Consent Mode v2 with all non-essential storage denied until you explicitly grant consent through the cookie banner.

1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences (such as language, login state, or whether you've granted analytics consent) so that you don't have to re-enter them every time.
We also use a few similar technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage, and the analytics provider's own tracking calls — which we treat as cookies in this policy.
2. Cookie Categories We Use
We group cookies the same way the cookie banner does: Necessary (always on) and Analytics (off by default, opt-in).
2.1 Necessary cookies
These are required for KissMotion to function. They cannot be disabled because, without them, the site cannot serve you a working session.
| Cookie / Storage | Purpose | Storage | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
better-auth.session_token | Authenticated session — keeps you logged in across pages | First-party cookie | Until logout or 30 days |
NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language you selected | First-party cookie | 1 year |
kissmotion-consent | Stores your cookie consent choice (granted / denied) | First-party localStorage | Until you change it |
nextjs-toploader runtime state | Shows the page-load progress bar | In-memory only | Per session |
2.2 Analytics cookies (opt-in)
Loaded only after you click Accept or toggle Analytics on in the cookie preferences. We use these to understand which pages are viewed, where users get stuck, and to improve the product. They are never used for advertising or sold to third parties.
| Provider | Cookies set | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) | Aggregate traffic, page-view, and session metrics | Pseudonymous user/session ID | Up to 24 months |
Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk, MUID, ANONCHK) | Anonymous heatmaps & session recordings (no keystrokes on form fields) | Visitor and session identifiers | 1 year |
2.3 Marketing / advertising cookies
We do not use any. Google Consent Mode v2 has both ad_storage and ad_user_data set to denied by default and we do not currently grant either. If this ever changes we will update this page and re-prompt you.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Two third parties may set cookies on your device when you have granted analytics consent:
- Google Analytics 4 — Operated by Google LLC. See Google's privacy policy and GA opt-out browser add-on. We use IP anonymization and the EU data-region setting where applicable.
- Microsoft Clarity — Operated by Microsoft. See Microsoft's privacy statement and Clarity's opt-out. We do not enable form-field recording, payment-card capture, or any feature that would expose sensitive input.
We do not load any other third-party cookies. No advertising networks. No social-media tracking pixels. No data brokers.
4. How to Manage Cookies
You can control cookies in three ways:
4.1 In the cookie banner
The cookie banner that appeared on your first visit lets you Accept, Reject all, or Manage your preferences (toggle Analytics on or off). To re-open it, clear the kissmotion-consent entry from your browser's localStorage and reload the page.
4.2 In your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling necessary cookies will break login.
- Chrome — Manage cookies
- Safari — Clear cookies & website data
- Firefox — Cookies & site data
- Edge — Manage cookies
- Mobile (iOS / Android) — Settings → Browser → Privacy / Cookies
4.3 At each provider
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with the GA opt-out browser add-on. Microsoft Clarity respects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — most modern browsers can send GPC automatically.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — if your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a request to deny all non-essential cookies, regardless of any prior banner choice.
Internet Explorer's older "Do Not Track" header is unreliable across browsers; we recommend GPC-aware browsers (Brave, Firefox, DuckDuckGo Browser) for the strongest signal.
6. Children
KissMotion is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly load tracking cookies on profiles identified as belonging to children. If a parent or guardian believes their child has been tracked in error, contact us at support@aikissvideo.app and we will purge the data.
7. Changes to this Policy
When we add or remove a tracker, we update this page and bump the Last Updated date. Material changes — for example, enabling marketing cookies — re-prompt the cookie banner so you can re-consent.
